About the artist
Vered Vaspi Tsabari, daughter of the founders of the Yesud Ha’Maale colony. Her father died at the Yom Kippur War and since her childhood she found solace and peace in the arts and in painting.
She studied at the Tel-Hai Arts School during the 80s, and following the death of her brother, Arnon Vaspi, in the first Lebanon War she left the arts. Vered returned to the arts many years later after she was diagnosed with a malignant disease and realized that she was not in her right place, which was the artistic realm, painting in particular. She returned to her studies at the Tel-Hai Arts School and to this day continues to develop, study and create.
Vered’s art works were exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at various galleries across the country.
Currently, Vered’s art works are exhibited at the Agamia Gallery and at the gallery named after her late father and brother in Yisod Ha’Maala.

After more than 30 years, Vered returned to the Upper Street situated among the alleys of old Rosh Pina, a place where she resided and created during the 80s. Her works are displayed at the studio and the gallery alongside the works of local artists.
